Van Nistelrooy departs the coaching staff of Manchester United

After not being assigned to the backroom staff of new manager Ruben Amorim, Ruud van Nistelrooy quit Manchester United.

After fellow countryman Erik ten Hag was fired, the 48-year-old Dutchman temporarily took charge at Old Trafford.

In his four games as interim manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy quit

Who signed a two-year contract to become United’s assistant coach in July, achieved three wins and a tie.

Van Nistelrooy, a former Netherlands striker who played for United for five seasons.

Has not, however, agreed to stay with Amorim.

In a statement confirming Van Nistelrooy’s departure, the club declared, “Ruud is, and always will be, a Manchester United legend.”

We appreciate his contribution and the manner in which he has carried out his duties during his tenure with the club.

At Old Trafford, he will always be warmly welcomed.

Pieter Morel, Jelle ten Rouwelaar, and Rene Hake, United’s other coaches, have also departed the team.

Darren Fletcher, a former midfielder for United.

Will continue to teach and serve as a liaison between the academy and the first team.

Under the new Portuguese manager, United stated that they will “announce the whole men’s first-team coaching composition” “in due course.”

When Amorim gets to Carrington

Amorim, who was hired earlier this month on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Arrived in the UK on Monday afternoon after leaving his position as Sporting manager.

Omar Barrada, the chief executive of United.

Visited him at the Carrington training ground and gave him a tour of the facilities.

The 39-year-old has 13 days over the international break to get ready for his.

Premier League away debut as United’s manager on November 24 against Ipswich.

No room, but Van Nistelrooy impressed

Even though this news is not very shocking, some fans will be disappointed.

Ruud van Nistelrooy made it apparent that he intended to fulfill his commitment to stay on as assistant manager until June 2026.

But there is not room for someone with extensive Manchester United.

Experience and management aspirations on Ruben Amorim’s own long-standing coaching staff.

One may argue that United should have given Van Nistelrooy more time to prove himself for the position.

But the issue was moot because chief executive Omar Berrada already knew who he wanted to succeed Erik ten Hag.

However, throughout the past four games.

Van Nistelrooy has made an impression both inside and beyond the club, so who knows what the future holds.

Curiously, though, former United midfielder Darren Fletcher.

Will continue to play his position and serve as a liaison between the academy and the first squad.
