FC Twente Helps Enschede helped the Indonesian National Team by resting Mees Hilgers. The player is focused on recovering from his injury so he was not brought to visit OGC Nice’s headquarters.
Hilgers was reportedly injured when he was pulled out when FC Twente faced Willem II Tilburg
in the 2024-2025 Dutch League match last weekend. He was replaced by Gustaf Lagerbielke in the 46th minute.

The latest news is that Mees was not brought by FC Twente to face OGC Nice in the fourth
week of the 2024-2025 Europa League. The meeting between the two teams will take place
at the Allianz Riviera Stadium, Nice, France, Friday, November 8 in the early hours of WIB.
After that match, FC Twente will still play one more match, namely against Ajax Amsterdam. The match will take place at the De Grolsch Veste Stadium, on November 10, 2024.
So, Mees will most likely only leave for Indonesia after that match. That is if the player is included in the FC Twente squad to face Ajax.
It is not yet known for sure whether Mees will be included in the squad against De Godenzonen or not. What is certain is that the 23-year-old defender is focused on undergoing recovery.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian National Team will make preparations, on November 10, 2024.
They will face the Japanese National Team (November 15) and the Saudi Arabian National Team (November 19, 2024)
at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta.
